Because the Cooperative Education Program and the Internship Program are academic programs, and students must register for
courses in order to do a co-op or internship, it is important that students meet all deadlines. Failure to meet the deadlines
will prevent the student from working.
Cooperative Education & Internship Programs Deadlines for Spring 2009 (For all degree programs)
First day CMC will begin accepting on-line applications for Co-op Renewals and Extensions(Co-ops only): November 10, 2008
First day CMC advisors will start meeting with students who are applying for new Co-ops and Internships: November 24, 2008
Earliest date to begin Spring 2009 Co-ops and Internships: December 15, 2008
Date for students to contact CMC advisor if offer letter and forms are not yet received from employer: January 9, 2009
Co-op & Internship Registration Deadline (last date to meet with CMC advisor to get approval and also register): January 27, 2009
Last date to submit applications for CPT to International Center: January 28, 2009
Latest date to begin Spring ’09 Co-op or Internship: February 9, 2009
