Nielsen is one of the largest and most respect general contractors in the Midwest, providing specialists in every phase of construction from planning through completion. We have operated as a general contractor for over thirty years. The company was formed in the mid 1970’s performing primarily remodeling and rehabilitation projects in the Chicago area. By 1985, the company was performing hundreds of remodeling and rehabilitation projects in three states and began to branch out into other types of construction. In 1992, F.H. Paschen acquired S.N. Nielsen, and F.H. Paschen, S.N. Nielsen was established. Today, F.H. Paschen, S.N. Nielsen is organized into three main divisions: Building, Civil, and Job Order Contracts (JOC).
